On behalf of the Chinese-Speaking Pediatric Orthopaedic Society, I extend my warmest welcome to all pediatric orthopedic colleagues from the Cross-Strait,Hong Kong SAR and Macao SAR—to this distinguished gathering.
Over the past 2 decades, pediatric orthopedics across the regions has grown side by side, achieving remarkable progress together. To further deepen the inherent close ties among us and to establish a regular, high-level academic platform, we jointly founded this Society in 2024. This inaugural academic conference, to be held in Guangzhou in May 2026, marks the Society's first major event and signifies a new phase in our professional exchange and collaboration.
The core mission of this conference is to continuously promote and enhance academic interaction and fellowship among pediatric orthopedic professionals across the three regions. To this end, we have meticulously planned this conference in accordance with the format and standards of leading international academic meetings. We aim to create a familiar yet professional international exchange environment for colleagues in our regions. The conference will adopt widely recognized international educational practices, including peer-reviewed papers, thematic seminars, and conference language norms. This is designed to provide attendees, especially physicians from the Mainland China, with an internationally aligned academic experience "at home," thereby enhancing their ability to engage in global dialogue.
We have chosen Guangzhou, an open and inclusive hub city, in the hope that it will serve as an ideal venue for us to pool wisdom, deepen mutual understanding, and jointly envision the future. Let us take this opportunity to share the latest research findings and clinical experiences, working hand in hand to promote collaborative development and collective progress in the care of pediatric orthopedic patients.

过去二十年来，海峡两岸暨港澳的小儿骨科均取得了显著的发展；为进一步深化我们之间固有的紧密联系，并建立一个常态化的高层次学术平台，我们于2024年共同成立了本协会。
此次学术会议将于2026年5月在广州举行，会议核心使命在于持续促进并提升海峡两岸暨港澳小儿骨科专业人士间的学术交流与联谊。为此，我们已根据领先国际学术会议的模式与标准精心筹划了此次会议。目标旨在为地区同仁营造一个既熟悉又专业的国际交流环境。会议将采用广受认可的国际教育实践方法，包括同行评议论文、专题研讨会以及会议语言规范。此举旨在为与会者、尤其是来自中国内地的医师，提供一种"在家"便能体验与国际接轨的学术经历，从而增强其参与全球对话的能力。
我们选择了广州这座开放包容的枢纽城市作为此次会议的举办地，希望它能成为我们汇聚智慧、增进相互理解、共同展望未来的理想场所。让我们借此机会分享最新研究成果和临床经验，携手并进，推动小儿骨科患儿照护的协同发展与集体进步。
