Conference Overview

The 4th Chinese Conference on Pediatric Orthopaedics is a leading academic platform for pediatric orthopaedics in the Chinese-speaking community. Since the inaugural conference was held in Kaohsiung in 2007, subsequent meetings have taken place in Xiamen (2015) and Hong Kong (2024). In 2026, this prestigious event will be held for the first time in Guangzhou, a national central city, marking a new chapter in its development.

This conference is organized by the Chinese-Speaking Pediatric Orthopaedic Society and co-organized by major professional institutions across the Cross-Strait , Hong Kong SAR and Macao SAR, aiming to deepen cooperation and jointly explore the latest advancements and future directions in the field of pediatric orthopaedics.

The conference focuses on shared clinical challenges—such as neuromuscular diseases, skeletal dysplasias, and limb deformities—and is dedicated to advancing the standard of care for disable children.

Core Objectives

  • Deepen Dialogue in Core Areas: Engage in in-depth discussions on topics including neuromuscular diseases, skeletal dysplasias, and limb deformities, and exchange the latest treatment strategies and research advancements.
  • Share Clinical Experience: Facilitate the exchange of practical experience and research findings through keynote speeches and case discussions by experts from across the Cross-Strait , Hong Kong SAR .
  • Strengthen Professional Networks: Consolidate professional ties, build consensus on disciplinary development, and cultivate long-term, stable collaborative relationships.

Four Core Tasks

    Build a Focused Academic Exchange Platform

    Facilitate discussions on neuromuscular diseases, skeletal dysplasias, and limb deformities, promoting the exchange of experience and knowledge regarding diagnostic criteria, treatment protocols, and long-term management.

    Advance Clinical Guidelines and Practice

    Encourage participants to share clinical pathways, surgical techniques, and rehabilitation protocols, working collectively to advance more standardized and optimized diagnostic and treatment models that benefit children and adolescents.

    Support Young Clinician Development

    Provide dedicated sessions for paper presentations and case discussions for young clinicians and scholars, supporting their academic growth and helping them become future leaders in the field.

    Lay the Foundation for Cross-Regional Research

    Establish communication channels based on shared clinical priorities and explore future multi-center collaborative research, aiming to generate high-quality clinical evidence in the field of Chinese pediatric orthopaedics.
