The 3rd Cross-Strait and Hong Kong-Macao Congress on Pediatric Orthopaedics Successfully Held in Hong Kong
From March 8-10, 2024, the 3rd Cross-Strait and Hong Kong-Macao Congress on Pediatric Orthopaedics was successfully held in Hong Kong. Hundreds of pediatric orthopaedic experts from the Cross-Strait , Hong Kong SAR and Macao SAR gathered to engage in in-depth academic exchanges on cutting-edge fields including complex pediatric trauma, hip disorders, spinal deformities, limb reconstruction, bone tumors, and rare diseases.
With the theme "Education, Exchange, Innovation, Development", the congress featured diverse formats including plenary lectures, case discussions, and English presentations, sharing clinical experience and technical achievements to promote standardized and precision-oriented development of pediatric orthopaedics in the regions.
Chinese-Speaking Pediatric Orthopaedic Society (CSPOS) Officially Established
During the congress, the Chinese Pediatric Orthopaedic Exchange Association (CSPOS) was officially established. Professor Li Xu from Guangzhou Huaxin Orthopaedic Hospital was elected as the founding President, creating a new platform for cooperation across the Cross-Strait , Hong Kong SAR and Macao SAR.
Announcement of the 4th Congress
The congress also announced that the 4th edition will be held in Guangzhou in 2026, continuing to unite the strength of Chinese orthopaedists and promote high-quality disciplinary development.
